The article systematizes little-k nown data about the siblings of Marshal of the Soviet Union A. M. Vasilevsky, whose life path characterizes the personality of the commander. All children (4 brothers and 4 sisters) were raised in a priest's family and received the same idea of moral values. In addition to their upbringing, the Vasilevsky brothers and sisters received almost the same basic education. All boys studied at Kineshma Theological School of the Kostroma Diocese, and older brothers also studied at the Kostroma Theological Seminary. The girls had a good school education, which was given to them by their own father, priest Mikhail Vasilievsky, a teacher at a parochial school in the village of Novopokrovskoye. In the future, the brothers saw themselves as representatives of the rural intelligentsia (veteri narians, teachers and agronomists). The girls aspired to become teachers and received the necessary knowledge for this. The article provides evidence that the future professions of the brothers and sisters of Marshal A. M. Vasilevsky were associated with service to the Motherland, patriotism and the education of future generations. Despite the challenges of the time, they remained worthy sons and daughters of their country and the pride of their parents. The article examines the relationship between relatives, emphasizing their sincere care for each other. Based on the presented material, the author draws a conclusion about the high moral qualities of the commander, characteristic of his entire large family. The marshal was a graduate of Kostroma Theological Seminary in 1915. Therefore, the KTS pays special attention to the spiritual roots of the commander. The material presented in the article is planned to be included in the second edition of the author’s book “Alexander Mikhailovich Vasilevsky: from seminarian to marshal.” For clarity, the text is provided with large family photographs with detailed descriptions, as well as a diagram of the Vasilevsky family tree.
