Annotation

The article presents a general description of Orthodox media in the Russian media space. Their development in retrospect is briefly outlined and their current role is reflected. The authors examine various forms of using the media space for information support of social and charitable topics. The content of the archive of issues of the specialized Orthodox magazine «Neskuchny Sad» is used as an empirical base.
