Annotation

The article is devoted to the issue of using the badges of graduates of theological schools of the Russian Orthodox Church, the insignia of masters, candidates and doctors of theology, as well as other badges of theological schools in the recent period of the history of the Russian Church. Based on the grains of available information, it is known that only a few Russian seminaries had in their practice the experience of giving their graduates their own badges, and even fewer theological schools today have their own commemorative, jubilee or award signs and medals. In Ukrainian theological educational institutions under the jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church, this practice has become more widespread. It is safe to say that these signs are very rare and are of undoubted interest both from the point of view of phaleristics, and from the side of evidence of the era of revival and the formation of theological schools in modern times and their activities in training church personnel.
