Annotation

This article presents a student’s essay in verse of the future professor Archpriest F. A. Golubinsky, which he wrote at Kostroma Theological Seminary in 1813 at the age of 15. The author uses a dramatic structure, prefixing the poetic composition with an explanation of the names between which the dialogue is conducted. The essence of the dialogue is reflections on the meaning of life and the purpose of a person endowed with talents.
